HAPPY MOTHERS DAY Y'ALL!

If the weather stays nice, i will set up outside the store, and let people play with some of the materials I have. Also, I would like to get people to sign my guest book, and will be doing a few "drawings" for door prizes. A piece of original art, A paper star(wicked cool) and a lotus candle holder!

I will probably even paint out-side today!...weather permitting, all weekend!

One MONTH!

One month in business, and i am feeling confident that i have a purpose here!

Not only do i have a good start on the art supplies, I feel my Fun gift section is worth taking a look at!
I still need to build up my pastel supply, but i have a new batch of brushes coming in on Tues!

"Gift Items"

I also have some pretty cool stuff for gifts, being one of the only shops in town, I am trying to keep other interesting things, for people who need a quick unique gift item.

Of course i will only have fun stuff in house, and i just got in some really cool paper stars, paper lanterns, I have also been working on some "mothers day minis" and so on and so forth!

Today we are getting in a shipment of lino cutters, packaged pencil sets, coloring books, more water color and Artisan paint colors...

Aqua board, and next weeks shipment will be loaded with a princeton brush promo that i will tell you about later.

So, hopefully you all will find that i am trying to keep the store "fresh", "fun" and full of life! Come in and check us out! If i am not there, My daughter Chelsea is doing a great job learning the biz...and getting to know the artists other than me! THanks for your ideas, support, and words of encouragment. Sett'ling in at Art to Art

I am finding myself painting once again, its been almost a year since i have found myself locked into "the mode" I am thrilled to say, all i want to do is paint! Stop in anytime and i will probably have a few projects around, from sketch to watercolor pencils, or whatever is in reach!
I am also open on Sundays, because of the awesome "blues brunch" at the Tavern next door!
They offer great affordable breakfasts on Fri Sat and Sundays! worth a look!!!

Materials!

I am getting new materials in weekly, but i want to hear peoples preferences! 

I would like suggestions in pastels, professional oils, papers....and stuff!

I am having fun ordering the gifty stuff, and that seams to be going well!  Especially the ELLI POOH journals!  Thanks again Newmarket for your support! 

I also want to hear from teachers, suggestions for there class lists, etc.

As some of you know, I worked at Tech product for a while, and i learned that talking to the customers, and understanding what and why , made it easier in getting the products that were need.
